Born and raised in Centre, Clinton G. Eubanks grew up on a cotton farm outside of town. He graduated from Auburn University with honors in 1998, earning a B.S. degree in Agronomy & Soils. He became a farmer himself for three years before attending law school at the University of Alabama, graduating in 2004.
After law school, Mr. Eubanks became an Air Force JAG, representing the United States in courts-martial, advising commanding officers in disciplinary and civil matters, and providing legal assistance to active duty and military retirees near Great Falls, Montana, where he was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base. He was later personally selected by General Jack Rives, Judge Advocate General of the Air Force, to serve in the prestigious position of Area Defense Counsel, where he provided criminal defense to airmen, mostly those stationed at Malmstrom, but he also often travelled to the states of Washington and Alaska to defend accused airmen at courts-martial.
After being honorably discharged, Mr. Eubanks came home to Centre where he has been practicing law since April 2011, serving as President of the Cherokee County Bar Association from 2013 to 2016. In January 2018, he and long-time friend Chad Stallings formed the firm of Stallings & Eubanks, LLC.
Mr. Eubanks has been lead counsel in numerous criminal and civil trials, both before a jury and before a judge alone. He has litigation and trial experience in most any type of criminal case, as well as accident cases, wrongful death actions, breach of contract cases, collection cases, will and estate disputes, and real estate disputes.
Mr. Eubanks married his wife Brooke in November 2013, and they now have a son and a daughter. When not at work, he enjoys playing with his children, hunting, fishing, travel, handyman projects and reading.
